About the film
Distracted and addicted to scrolling, I failed to escape social media’s pull before meeting certain doom.
Spider Web was an exciting background and stunt acting experience I had after previously working with Melanie Martinez and Dojohouse Media Group as a production assistant on Faerie Soirée.
It was such an exciting experience working on an amazingly crafted forest blue-screen set with an incredible cast and crew. It was especially exciting to work for one of my favorite creative music and video artists alongside my close friends and classmates in the Indiana University Media School .
I loved getting my hair done by William Scott Blair and having my costume crafted and tailored by Rio Warner . It was a fun and unique project to be part of and an important story to tell.

My roles
This was an involved background acting job including small stunts like tripping, falling, running into trees, and being obliviously glued to my phone.

From production assistant to background actor
In a fast-paced multi-music-video shoot, one thing can lead to the next.
I was brought onto this project after working as a production assistant on the creative and whimsical Faerie Soirée music video by Melanie Martinez, an earlier song from her Portals album.
