01 · Story
About the film
Attempted murder, burglary, and tax fraud.
This comedy short film portrays a damaged family relationship between a father and his two kids. Living a life of scams and cons, he teaches his kids how to do the same.
They pull one of their greatest cons by attempting to murder him before he writes them out of his will, then try to steal the valuables from his house. Little do they know that they are all being played.

03 · Development
Many pieces come into play for a film production.
Direction, alignment, and teamwork.
This was the first film I directed from a script that was not my own. The project came together through teamwork across different classes at the Indiana University Media School .
I was happy to be brought onto the project after previously working with producer Ana Mercado . The project was also used for an assignment in my “Directing the Cinematic Story” class.
