A desperate student film project becomes a horror movie with consequences no one expected.

P666 - Intro to Horror follows a group of film students who are given another chance to complete a final project after their first attempt falls apart. They decide to make a horror film and head into production with clashing personalities, competing ideas, and very different expectations for the movie.

What begins as a chaotic student shoot becomes genuinely dangerous when the horror they are filming starts to become real. After a possession appears to happen on camera, the group discovers that the camera itself seems capable of changing reality.

The discovery quickly turns from exciting to destructive as the characters experiment with the camera's power. By the end, the project has become far more than a film assignment, and the group learns that the person guiding them may understand the camera much better than they ever did.

My role

I supported the directing team as Assistant Director.

  1. Assistant Director

Assistant directing helps keep the creative plan moving while the production around it stays organized.

The film moves through dialogue-heavy comedy, staged horror, possession, physical action, and increasingly chaotic effects. A production with that many tonal and logistical shifts depends on clear communication and coordination across the set.

As Assistant Director, my contribution was part of the structure that helps the directing team, cast, and crew move through those scenes efficiently while staying aligned with the production plan.
